An elderly gentleman has been missing from his home in Brampton nr Carlisle since Saturday breakfast time. He set off to walk his black Labrador dog Boss along a regular route around the village and has not been seen since. Steve Owers, Teesdale Team spokesman said "We were asked by the Penrith Mountain Rescue Team to assist in the search today. Ourselves and the North of Tyne Team joined Mountain Rescue Teams from the Lakes, Scotland, the Dales and RAF Leeming in a search of the countryside around the village. We were assisted by the Police and an RAF Helicopter from Boulmer but despite an extensive search we have found no trace of the 75 year old gentleman or his dog Boss.
